Understanding the Tridev: Brahma Vishnu and Mahesh. In Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism), the Tridev (Three Gods) are the most important forms of Bhagwan (God).
- Brahma– निर्माता
- Vishnu– संरक्षक
- Shiva (Mahesh)– विनाशक
Each has a special role in maintaining balance in the universe. Let’s understand them in very simple language.
Who Are the Tridev?
The Tridev are three manifestations of a single, all-powerful being. Together, they build, safeguard, and revitalize the cosmos.

Ram: The perfect ruler who vanquished Ravan.
Krishna: The teacher of the Bhagavad Gita and Arjun’s mentor in the Mahabharat.
Mahesh (Shiva): The Destroyer
Who Is Mahesh (Shiva)?
Shiva is a god who purges evil and makes room for fresh creation in the cosmos. Bholenath is another name for him because he is amiable and easily won over.

How Do the Tridev Work Together?
The Tridev work like a team:
