The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon announce the 2024 Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam results. The results will show which candidates can move on to Tier 2.
About the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam
The dates of the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam were September 9–26, 2024. English comprehension, general awareness, numeric aptitude, and general intellect and reasoning were among the topics covered in the test. There were multiple-choice, objective questions throughout the paper. The test was offered in Hindi and English, with the exception of the English section. There were 25 questions for 50 points in each segment.
Vacancies and Eligibility
The goal of the SSC CGL 2024 recruiting is to fill 17,727 positions in the central government’s Group B and Group C. OBC and EWS applicants must receive at least 25% of the possible points to be eligible, whereas general category candidates must receive at least 25%. Other category candidates require 20% of the possible points.

Once announced, the results will be available in PDF format on the official SSC website. Follow these steps to check:
- Visit ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the “Results” section.
- Click on the link for “CGL Tier 1 Result 2024.”
- Download the PDF.
- Use your roll number to find your result.
Tier 2 Examination Details
Candidates who clear Tier 1 will qualify for Tier 2, scheduled for January 18-20, 2025. The Tier 2 exam is the next critical stage in the recruitment process.
