New Delhi: Punjabi Singer Diljit Dosanjh is one of the most prominent names in the music industry. The 40-year-old singer has not only made his name in the Indian audience but is also popular outside India for his melodious voice.
Born on 6th January 1984 in Jalandhar he started his career in 2002 and gained recognition for his album ‘Smile’ in 2005 and ‘Chocolate’ in 2008. He has also made his debut in a Punjabi film ‘The Lion of Punjab’ in 2011.
After this, he made his debut in Bollywood with the film ‘Udta Punjab’. He also received the best debut male actor for the film.

Diljit hails from a small family in Punjab’s Jalandhar. His father used to work for Punjab Roadways and his mother is a Homemaker. He has two siblings, one elder sister, and one younger brother. He completed his formal education in Ludhiana. He used to perform in Kirtans and Bhajans in Gurudwara while he was in school.
