New Delhi: When two colleagues at work seem to have the hots for each other but are forced to keep it under wraps to avoid making things awkward, things are bound to head in the direction not anticipated. That’s what the new upcoming anime about workplace romance, ‘Can you Keep a Secret?’ is all about.
Also known widely as ‘I Have a Crush At Work,’ this anime features a classic favorite of anime fans and readers—the trope of a rom-com, a perfect blend of romance and comedy meant to keep the viewer hooked to every page and every episode.
Can You Keep a Secret was serialized from March 2019 to January 2023, and has been neatly compiled into 15 volumes. The studio Blade is set to announce the animated series’s release on January 6th, 2025.

Plot
Yui Mitsua and Masugu Tateishi aren’t just normal coworkers- they like each other, more than normal colleagues are meant to. Masugu’s helpful attitude, mixed with his humbleness makes her heart race. Her cute and soft nature makes him feel giddy and leaves him grinning like a fool. This blossoming love between them might just end up making things even more awkward than they seem.
Things tend to get awkward if two coworkers start a relationship more than a friendship. That is the reason the both of them are trying hard to keep their new relationship under wraps. To remain in the pretense of two people who work together. But the more they try to stay away, their distance only seems to shorten. They cannot stay away from each other, cannot keep their hands off of each other, and they’re only getting closer.
The more they tangle themselves in the tapestry of this romance they are trying so hard to hide, the more things will worsen. Colleagues at the office aren’t supposed to act this way. But every time the closeness between them diminishes, the harder it gets to keep the act at play.
The situation seems to start a fall downward when their other colleagues at the workplace begin to notice. A string of events starts happening that might just expose the truth.
